Clinical Psychologists
Provide a wide array of services and work with people with concerns ranging from everyday challenges to more severe forms of psychological distress.
Here are a few examples:
♦ Everyday problems/ stressors.
♦ Awareness of difficulties in psychological, social or occupational functioning.
♦ Difficulty adjusting to changes in life circumstance such as divorce, relocation, retrenchment, promotion, medical diagnoses, changes in family structure, moving, birth of a child, bereavement, and more.
♦ Mental health problems/illnesses, ranging in severity: Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Mood Disorder, Schizophrenia, feelings of emptiness, suicidal thoughts and behaviour, anger, loneliness, and more.
♦ People can seek psychological assistance themselves or they can be referred to a psychologist by a medical practitioner, a teacher, a lay counselor, an employer, or by the court, for example.
♦ Referrals can be for psychotherapy or for psychological assessment (diagnostic, legal, vocational, neuropsychological).

Psychological Services Overview

I offer individual therapy, couple therapy, family therapy, neuropsychological rehabilitation, psychological assessments, group therapy, as well as psychological workshops. I also have a keen interest in community outreach programs.

Group psychotherapy, like individual psychotherapy, is intended to help people cope better with their difficulties.

Adolescence generally describes the stage of development that transitions from childhood to young adulthood.
Couple and Family Therapy
Some of the most common problems for which couples seek therapy are infidelity, financial issues, sexual health problems, domestic violence, and difficulties in communication.
